Boot Camp

Referred to by other names like circuit training, CrossFit®, and high-intensity training, this class has it all. A full-body workout with functional exercises that not only get your body looking good but also encourage functional strength for everyday life.

What is a Boot Camp class like?

Our boot camp is a challenging, fun, and supportive workout. It is a combination of strength and cardio training. The strength training may consist of dumbells, resistance bands, medicine balls, kettlebells, TRX bands, tractor tire, sledgehammer, and body weight exercises. In the cardio portion, you can expect sprints, agility ladder, rowing machine, battle ropes, plyometrics, and more. These workouts are designed to push your body beyond its comfort zone in order to achieve your fitness goals, whether its weight loss, flexibility, toning or adding muscle mass.

Classes generally last an hour, and we promise you will never be bored.

Advantages of a Boot Camp workout?

Our goal is to provide you with a functional total body workout. Accomplishing these goals will lead to better strength and endurance for each individual uniquely.

Why High Intensity Interval Training?

High-Intensity Interval Training or HIIT has several advantages over traditional forms of cardiovascular exercise.  Benefits like burning more calories in a shorter period of time PLUS increasing your metabolic rate for hours after you exercise are among the top-cited by experts.  We know that our program will challenge anyone at any fitness level regardless of where they are in their fitness journey.

Combining boxing, kickboxing, Muay Thai, calisthenics, body weight exercises, and more this class is full of exercises to keep your mind and body ready for more. If you are tired of running on a treadmill, then check out this class. We promise you won’t be bored!

Bootcamp

Muay Thai Kickboxing

Referred to as the “art of eight limbs,” this effective martial art has grown in popularity with the rise of MMA and its unquestionable efficacy in delivering strikes to your opponent.  Our Muay Thai classes focus on technique, drills, and light sparring to develop an effective overall striking system.  If you have ever been interested in learning a striking martial art that can be applied in most situations then this class is for you.

Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (BJJ)

One of the most effective martial arts in the world, this training focuses on using position, angles, leverage, and momentum to control and submit your opponent. Often referred to as “human chess” this art emphasizes understanding different positions and using your understanding of that position and your body to capitalize and gain advantages over your opponent. Here at PTC Combat, we have legitimate BJJ black belts teaching all of our classes.

If you are looking for an effective martial art for your child, then Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (BJJ) is the art for you and them. BJJ was developed so that the smaller, less athletic, individual can survive, progress, and then capitalize on their opponents’ weaknesses. Understanding how to grapple with another individual and using technique and leverage is an invaluable tool for any child. We specialize in teaching young individuals how to use their body most effectively with BJJ.
